A pediatrician in Texas who once took an oath to care for children has now become a national disgrace after making shocking remarks about victims of a deadly natural disaster. The backlash was swift and fierce—rightfully so—and she’s now been removed from her position.
Dr. Christina B. Propst, a pediatrician based in Houston, ignited a firestorm online after gloating over the deaths of 82 Texans who perished in the devastating floods that swept through Kerr County. Rather than express compassion or offer support, she decided to take a twisted political jab at the victims.
Her post read:
“May all visitors, children, non-MAGA voters and pets be safe and dry,” Propst wrote. “Kerr County MAGA voted to gut FEMA. They deny climate change. May they get what they voted for. Bless their hearts.”

Among the deceased were 28 innocent children—young lives lost in a catastrophe—and Propst had the audacity to justify their deaths as some kind of karmic punishment. Her cold-hearted post outraged Americans across the political spectrum, but it especially lit up conservative social media.
Former Fox News anchor and popular conservative voice Megyn Kelly was one of many to slam Propst for her disturbing commentary. The tone-deaf message not only politicized a tragic event—it vilified entire families who were grieving the loss of their loved ones.
