Forget what you thought you knew about federal agents working behind desks in Washington. Trump’s FBI has launched an aggressive, no-holds-barred campaign directly inside cartel strongholds. The FBI’s Criminal Investigative Division has rolled out a powerful initiative called TOC-West—Transnational Organized Crime – Western Hemisphere—and it’s shaking the foundation of criminal empires from Mexico to Colombia.
But this is no ordinary law enforcement program. These agents are embedded in the fight—working hand-in-hand with local police and military forces in Latin America to bring cartel networks down from the inside.
“We want to target the entire enterprise,” said Mike, a supervisory special agent overseeing the TOC-West task force.
