“No, understand your death is already a guarantee, and you can thank your parents for that one,” Bartkus states in the audio file. “All a promortalist is saying is let’s make it happen sooner rather than later (and preferably peaceful rather than some disease or accident), to prevent your future suffering, and, more importantly, the suffering your existence will cause to all the other sentient beings.”

The explosion occurred outside the American Reproductive Centers of Palm Springs on Saturday, where the device reportedly detonated in a parked vehicle. Police Chief Andy Mills believes the bomber died in the explosion, with five others suffering injuries.
Attorney General Pam Bondi issued a strong statement condemning the attack and affirming federal involvement in the ongoing investigation. “I have been briefed on the explosion at a fertility clinic in Palm Springs, California that took place today. Federal agents are on the ground now responding alongside local law enforcement,” she said. “We are working to learn more, but let me be clear: the Trump administration understands that women and mothers are the heartbeat of America. Violence against a fertility clinic is unforgivable.”

The manifesto reveals Bartkus subscribed to extremist ideologies including “Negative Utilitarianism,” “Efilism,” and “Abolitionist Veganism”—fringe belief systems that advocate for eliminating life to prevent suffering. “Basically, philosophies that have realized religion is retarded, but that there is objective value in the universe, and it lies in the harm being experienced by sentient beings,” the website claims.
Perhaps most horrifyingly, the site includes open praise for infamous mass shooter Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook killer, and Gary Moshe—known online as “Inmendham”—a radical ideologue who once said he would carry out a mass shooting “if he could get away with murder.”
The FBI and local authorities are treating the incident with the utmost seriousness, and the fact that a fertility clinic was the target has drawn national attention.
While the motive appears rooted in warped philosophical extremism, the broader implications are unmistakable: in today’s political climate, even fringe ideologies can manifest into violence.
The archived version of Bartkus’ site is being combed by investigators for further insight into potential collaborators or copycats. As of now, there is no indication that others were involved in the attack.
This disturbing act not only highlights a new brand of radicalized extremism but also raises serious questions about the online spaces where such twisted views fester unchecked.
