Kash Patel’s Career ENDS With 1 Bold Move!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“She was targeting Americans simply for exercising their Second Amendment rights,” a senior DOJ official said privately. Bondi didn’t hesitate to clean house — and Patel was the man chosen to lead that mission.

With Patel now focused solely on the FBI, Army Secretary Daniel Driscoll has been named as acting director of the ATF — a move some insiders say is just the beginning of a complete overhaul.

White House spokesman Harrison Fields commented on the shift:
“Director Kash Patel was briefly designated ATF Director while awaiting Senate confirmations — a standard, short-term move. Dozens of similar re-designations have occurred across the federal government. Director Patel is now excelling in his role at the FBI and delivering outstanding results.”

The Biden administration used the ATF as a political weapon against America’s gun-owning public, pushing unconstitutional restrictions and harassing firearms dealers across the country. But that era is coming to a screeching halt.

Under Patel, even in his short time as acting head, over 150 ATF agents were reassigned to assist with border security, a clear sign of shifting priorities — away from targeting gun owners, and toward real threats like illegal trafficking and cartel violence.

Reports suggest Patel only visited the ATF office once — but that’s all it took to send a message.

Now that Driscoll has stepped in, top brass at the ATF are reportedly heading for the exits. Deputy Director Marvin Richardson resigned after being told he could either retire quietly or be fired. Other senior officials are reportedly weighing early retirement packages offered by the Trump administration.

The National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) wasted no time applauding the shakeup.

“President Trump’s decision to appoint Acting Director Driscoll is indicative of his resolve to bring reform to the ATF and protect the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens and the industry that makes it possible to exercise those rights,” said NSSF General Counsel Lawrence Keane.

But that’s not the end of the story — not by a long shot.

According to a leaked Justice Department memo dated March, the Trump administration is considering a major agency merger between the ATF and the Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). The goal? Streamline federal resources and eliminate bureaucratic overlap.

The memo states the merger would “achieve efficiencies in resources, case deconfliction, and regulatory efforts.” Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche has reportedly requested internal feedback on the proposal.

Predictably, left-wing activists are in a tailspin. Anti-gun groups and progressive operatives fear the merger will derail efforts to weaponize the ATF against legal gun owners.

“Gutting DOJ and merging ATF and DEA weakens law enforcement’s ability to combat gun violence, the fentanyl epidemic, and generally keep American communities secure and healthy,” wailed Stacey Young, founder of Justice Connection.

What she really means? The Left’s power over these agencies is slipping through their fingers.

Kash Patel’s brief stint at the ATF was never about a long-term role — it was about shaking the tree. And shake it, he did.

Now, with Driscoll at the helm and Patel laser-focused on cleaning up the FBI, the Trump administration is showing they’re serious about restoring the rule of law, protecting constitutional rights, and dismantling the entrenched federal bureaucracy that has long targeted ordinary Americans.

If this is how the first few months of Trump’s return to power look, the Swamp better buckle up — because the storm is just getting started.
