The U.S. Secret Service is responding after a deeply disturbing segment aired by Iranian state-linked media appeared to single out Barron Trump, the youngest son of President Donald Trump, as a potential target.
The agency confirmed Tuesday that it is aware of the video and is treating the material seriously.
“The U.S. Secret Service is aware of the video and investigates anything that can be perceived as a threat toward our protectees,” Secret Service spokesman Nate Herring announced Tuesday.
