Far-left firebrand Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is turning heads again — and this time, she’s not just firing off radical rhetoric. She might be gunning for a political takeover.
While rallying with socialist Senator Bernie Sanders (I-VT) in Los Angeles over the weekend, Ocasio-Cortez didn’t just repeat her usual progressive slogans — she dropped what sounded an awful lot like the opening shot in a new campaign, possibly against one of her own.

“Los Angeles, I’ve made my choice. We must fight the oligarchy that has created this nightmare. That is why I have never taken money from lobbyists or corporations, and it’s why I never will,” she declared, drawing roars from the left-wing crowd gathered at Gloria Molina Grand Park.
