JUST IN: U.S. Military School Students PROTEST Pete Hegseth!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Hegseth, a strong proponent of eliminating DEI programs across the Department of Defense (DoD), has enforced President Donald Trump’s executive orders to roll back race-based policies within the government. His tenure has already seen the cancellation of Black History Month celebrations at military institutions, along with book restrictions in Defense Department schools—moves that have been met with resistance from left-wing activists.

In a letter to parents, Patch Middle School’s Assistant Principal Alexis Small acknowledged the protest but did not directly address Hegseth’s policies. The letter stated:

“Today at 1300, about 55 of our students walked out in protest of recent events. Students entered and exited the building in an orderly fashion and gathered outside in the courtyard for 50 minutes before returning to class.

DoDEA respects our students’ rights to peacefully express their opinions through speech and other means as long as it is done respectfully, does not interfere with the rights of others, and does not disrupt learning in the school.

Our school is committed to providing a safe environment where everyone is treated with respect and encouraged to help others.

Our teachers, administrators, and staff continue to reinforce a sense of positive school community, and we ask for your partnership in working with your child to discuss meaningful actions they can take to engage in our community.”

The statement raises concerns about the role of school administrators in fostering or condoning politically motivated actions among children, particularly in a setting designed to serve military families who depend on stability and discipline.

Patch Middle School, like other DoDEA institutions, is tasked with educating the children of U.S. service members and DoD civilians. Traditionally, such schools have maintained neutrality in political matters. However, this incident underscores a growing trend of activism creeping into educational environments, even those directly tied to the military.

Despite the fact that only a fraction of the school’s students participated in the protest, questions remain about why middle schoolers—children not typically engaged in complex political issues—felt compelled to protest the U.S. Secretary of Defense. Some speculate that parental involvement played a role, as adults were seen actively demonstrating outside the school. This raises concerns about whether the protest was a spontaneous act of free expression or an orchestrated effort by those seeking to undermine Hegseth’s leadership.

As the Pentagon moves forward with its agenda of removing race-based policies and fostering unity within the armed forces, pushback from activist groups and ideological opponents is to be expected. However, when protests occur within military schools, involving young children who may not fully grasp the political implications, it raises serious concerns about undue influence and whether such activism belongs in a military setting.
