Gutfeld Gave Jill Biden 2 Brutal Options

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

That contradiction became the focus of a blistering segment on Fox News’ The Five, where Greg Gutfeld dismantled the narrative now being offered nearly two years after the fact.

Gutfeld argued that Jill Biden’s latest explanation simply does not fit with what the public witnessed.

“You can’t go from covering up this mess to being shocked by this mess,” he said.

The Fox host then delivered one of the sharpest criticisms yet directed at the former first lady.

“I think she was relieved that Joe was having a stroke because it was proof of life.”

The comment drew attention because it highlighted a growing belief among many conservatives that Biden’s cognitive decline was obvious long before Democrats were willing to acknowledge it publicly.

But Gutfeld wasn’t finished.

He followed with what may be the most difficult question facing Jill Biden as she promotes her memoir.

“If you thought he was having a stroke, you did nothing. So either you’re lying or you’re just a really bad person. You put politics ahead of the health of a country, but also ahead of the health of a human being. You would rather let this guy die to complete a campaign?”

The criticism strikes at the center of the controversy.

For years, Americans watched President Biden struggle through speeches, lose his train of thought, and experience highly publicized moments of confusion. Yet administration officials, Democratic leaders, and many media figures repeatedly dismissed concerns and insisted that Biden remained fully capable of performing the duties of the presidency.

Now, many of those same voices appear to be acknowledging that serious concerns existed behind closed doors.

The issue extends far beyond Jill Biden.

Last year, House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer accused members of Biden’s inner circle of helping conceal the president’s deteriorating condition from the public. The committee argued that senior aides and advisers took extraordinary steps to maintain the appearance that Biden remained fully in command.

Meanwhile, reports have surfaced suggesting that numerous Democratic officials who publicly defended Biden’s fitness were privately expressing concerns about his ability to continue serving.

Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro reportedly reassured voters publicly while delivering more candid assessments behind the scenes. Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg continued describing Biden as a capable leader even after the debate disaster. MSNBC host Joe Scarborough famously insisted Biden was “far beyond cogent” and “better than he has ever been” just months before the campaign collapsed.

Those statements have not aged well.

Even members of the mainstream media have begun questioning how such an obvious issue remained shielded from scrutiny for so long.

CNN host Abby Phillip recently posed a question that many Americans are now asking.

“What kind of political system covers that up? And makes it okay to lie to people about what everybody knows is true?”

That question cuts to the heart of the matter.

Millions of Americans noticed warning signs long before the debate. They voiced concerns and were frequently accused of spreading misinformation, engaging in partisan attacks, or exaggerating normal signs of aging.

Yet subsequent reporting has suggested those concerns may have been justified.

One particularly troubling allegation involved reports that aides discussed the possibility of Biden eventually needing a wheelchair but allegedly delayed such decisions until after the election cycle due to political considerations.

Missouri Senator Eric Schmitt summarized the frustration felt by many voters when he stated that Biden’s decline “did not suddenly begin in June of 2024. It was a persistent and obvious truth that was evident for years to anyone who was willing to see it.”

As Jill Biden prepares to release a book detailing her time in the White House, critics argue that the public deserves more than emotional reflections and retrospective explanations.

The central question remains unanswered.

If she truly believed her husband was experiencing a stroke during one of the most important moments of his presidency, why was the immediate public response not concern, transparency, and medical urgency?

That is the question Gutfeld put on the table.

And it is the question that may continue following Jill Biden long after the book tour ends.
