Trump’s Warning ROCKS Middle East Overnight

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Energy markets reacted instantly, with oil and gas prices surging amid fears of prolonged instability in the region.

But Trump did not stop at distancing the U.S. from the initial strike. He issued a direct warning that may now define the next phase of the conflict.

“NO MORE ATTACKS WILL BE MADE BY ISRAEL pertaining to this extremely important and valuable South Pars Field,” Trump wrote, “unless Iran unwisely decides to attack a very innocent, in this case, Qatar – in which instance the United States of America, with or without the help or consent of Israel, will massively blow up the entirety of the South Pars Gas Field at an amount of strength and power that Iran has never seen or witnessed before.”

He followed that with a sobering note.

“I do not want to authorize this level of violence and destruction because of the long term implications that it will have on the future of Iran, but if Qatar’s LNG is again attacked, I will not hesitate to do so.”

The message was unmistakable. Trump is signaling restraint, but also making it clear that escalation will be met with overwhelming force.

Speaking from the Oval Office the following day, Trump addressed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu directly, revealing friction behind the scenes.

“I told him, ‘Don’t do that,’” Trump said. “We get along great. It’s coordinated, but on occasion he’ll do something. And if I don’t like it – so we’re not doing that anymore.”

Netanyahu has reportedly agreed to pause further strikes on energy infrastructure, at least for now.

Still, tensions between the two allies appear to run deeper than a single operation. U.S. officials have indicated that while Washington is focused on dismantling Iran’s military capabilities, Israel has been pursuing a broader objective that includes destabilizing Iran’s leadership.

This divergence has created a delicate balancing act for the White House.

Trump’s strategy appears to center on applying maximum pressure without triggering total collapse. South Pars is not just another target. It supplies the vast majority of Iran’s domestic energy needs, powering homes, industry, and critical infrastructure. Destroying it would cripple the country for years and potentially reshape the region.

That is precisely why Trump’s threat carries so much weight.

He is not simply reacting. He is setting terms.

By drawing a clear red line tied to Qatar’s security, Trump is attempting to control escalation while maintaining leverage over both Iran and Israel. It is a calculated approach that leaves room for de-escalation but makes the consequences of further aggression unmistakably clear.

Iran now faces a critical decision. Another strike on Qatar could trigger a response unlike anything the region has seen. Holding back, however, may signal weakness at a time when Tehran is under intense internal and external pressure.

For now, the world is watching.

Trump has laid out the rules. Israel has agreed to stand down. The next move belongs to Iran.
