What Do 70% Of Voters REALLY Think About Biden?

According to the findings of several polls, President Joseph Biden’s chances of winning reelection in 2024 are not looking good. Despite recent success thus far in his first term, it seems voters are not yet totally sold on the current president’s chances for a second.

According to a recent Yahoo News/YouGov survey, a sizable majority of registered voters believe President Biden is “too old for another term” in office. An overwhelming 68% of respondents said they agreed with this opinion, making it obvious that if Joe Biden ran for re-election, it may have an effect on the results of the election.

According to a troubling study, almost half of Democratic voters are concerned about President Biden’s age, with just one-third believing it is unimportant.

More survey results were revealed by The New York Post: “Eighteen percent of Democrats polled were not sure if Biden was too old for another term. Already the oldest president in US history, Biden would be 86 by the end of his second term if he were to win re-election in 2024. A majority of independents, 71%, also said that age 82 was too old to start a second term as president, which is how old Biden would be on his second Inauguration Day. Biden has not formally declared that he will run for a second term but he has said on several occasions that he intends to seek re-election.”

Several surveys indicate a decline in support for President Biden’s probable second term run despite record high approval ratings before to the midterm elections. A survey by AP-NORC in early February 2021 found that just 37% of Democrats support his 2024 reelection bid, down from 52% in the months before to the general election in November.

“While Biden has trumpeted his legislative victories and ability to govern, the poll suggests relatively few U.S. adults give him high marks on either. Follow-up interviews with poll respondents suggest that many believe the 80-year-old’s age is a liability, with people focused on his coughing, his gait, his gaffes, and the possibility that the world’s most stressful job would be better suited for someone younger,” According to the Associated Press.

The AP story further stated:

President Biden’s job approval rating has remained steady at 41% despite his strong electoral track record. Although if Democrats continue to favor the president, interest in a reelection campaign is diminishing; compared to before the 2018 midterm elections, 29% of American adults now support his running.

Support for a potential Biden reelection seems to be holding steady among Democrats 45 and older. Younger people, on the other hand, seem to be acting with greater caution; since the midterms, their support for his future candidacy has decreased by 22%.

The indicators of a shift have been there for some months.

The majority of Americans expressed doubt that President Biden would seek reelection in 2024 in a recent Quinnipiac poll. Obviously, his current intentions for the future are questionable.

The survey revealed:

-Americans were asked about whether they’d be more or less likely to vote for a candidate who was endorsed by Joe Biden. Overall, 16 percent say they would be more likely to vote for the candidate, 29 percent say less likely, and 53 percent say it doesn’t make a difference.

-Among Democrats, 42 percent say they will be more likely to vote for the candidate, 53 percent say it doesn’t make a difference, and 3 percent say less likely.

-A majority of Americans, 54 – 33 percent, say they think Joe Biden will not run for president in 2024, with another 13 percent not offering an opinion.

-Just under half of Americans (48 percent) say they think it would be bad for the country if Joe Biden ran for president in 2024, while 37 percent think it would be good for the country.

When he hinted at his future political aspirations during a gathering last month, Vice President Biden aroused interest among Democratic leaders and activists. His message implied that 2024 may mark another election cycle, with Joseph Biden standing for president once again.

“We’re just getting started. I intend to get… more done,” Biden addressed the Philly audience. “As of this month, we’ve created 12 million new jobs. We’ve created more new jobs in two years than any president did in their entire term.”

Even though he has not yet formally launched his campaign, President Biden is set to create history by becoming the first president to run for reelection in more than a century.
