Kamala Harris sat quietly as Stacey Abrams delivered a sweeping attack on the American South, portraying the region’s political history as a centuries-long example of authoritarian rule.
Rather than challenge the extraordinary characterization, Harris appeared to nod along as Abrams made her case.
The exchange came during Harris’ “Assembly Required” podcast, where Abrams offered her assessment of what authoritarian government supposedly looks like in America.
