Warren Buffett Just Did the UNTHINKABLE

One of the most remarkable leadership runs in American corporate history has officially reached another turning point.

Warren Buffett is stepping aside as chairman of Berkshire Hathaway, the company he spent decades transforming into a financial powerhouse.

Berkshire announced Friday that the 96-year-old investing legend has been named chairman emeritus, effective immediately. Buffett isn’t severing his ties with the company, however. He will remain on Berkshire’s board and continue providing his perspective to its leadership.
