Elon Musk and Vivek Ramaswamy, co-heads of the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE), are voicing strong concerns over the massive continuing resolution (CR) bill Congress is expected to vote on this week before adjourning for the holidays.
The CR, spanning 1,547 pages, aims to fund the government through mid-March. Critics argue it perpetuates excessive spending while sneaking in perks for lawmakers at the expense of the American taxpayer.

Musk and Ramaswamy: On a Mission to Cut Government Waste
President Trump appointed Musk and Ramaswamy to lead DOGE last month, tasking them with overhauling government inefficiency. The advisory committee was created to “drive large-scale structural reform” and adopt an “entrepreneurial approach to Government never seen before.” Trump has said their efforts aim to slash up to $2 trillion in wasteful spending annually.
