Bragg’s Trump Cover-Up Exposed!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The group’s concerns are heightened by the fact that the case against Trump was prosecuted by individuals with strong ties to the Democratic Party and the Biden Administration. Following Trump’s conviction, which AFL argues was marred by political bias, the legal group filed additional records requests, including inquiries into the finances of Judge Juan Merchan, who presided over the case. Merchan’s daughter is a high-profile consultant who has reportedly raised significant funds for Democratic candidates, including President Joe Biden and Vice President Kamala Harris.

However, despite repeated requests, the District Attorney’s Office has been less than forthcoming. On June 3, 2024, after numerous delays, the office finally granted AFL access to a single-page document. AFL’s frustration grew when it learned that 36 additional responsive records existed but were withheld by the DA’s office on the grounds of “grand jury secrecy.”

“Additionally, its search identified ’36 responsive records’ to AFL’s request for all emails or other communications ‘mentioning or regarding Donald J. Trump’ with the U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ), but the request was ‘denied on grand jury secrecy grounds,’” the legal group explained in its press release.

AFL contends that the DA’s office’s reasoning is inconsistent with a statement from the DOJ. In response to an inquiry from House Judiciary Committee Chairman Jim Jordan on June 10, 2024, the DOJ claimed it found no communications between its leadership and the New York DA’s office regarding any investigation or prosecution of Trump since January 2021.

In light of these discrepancies, AFL has escalated the matter to the Supreme Court of the State of New York. The lawsuit demands that the DA’s office release all records of communications between Bragg’s staff and various parties, including the Biden Administration, the Department of Justice, the New York Times, the Free and Fair Litigation Group, and Lanny Davis’ law and PR firms. Additionally, AFL is seeking all internal communications within Bragg’s office that mention Judge Merchan or Trump.

AFL’s investigation has also focused on the hiring of Matthew Colangelo, who left a senior position at the Biden DOJ to join the New York DA’s office as a prosecutor. Colangelo was immediately assigned to the Trump case, raising further questions about potential political motivations.

“When justice operates in the shadows, abuse is often the intent. America First Legal is at the forefront of getting the facts and informing the American people. There should be nothing to hide. If improper ex parte communications influenced what is supposed to be nonpartisan prosecutorial conduct, all Americans are at risk. America First Legal is suing because it is committed to ensuring our justice system is free from partisan politics,” said America First Legal Vice President Dan Epstein.

As AFL continues to press for transparency, the case highlights growing concerns about the potential for partisan influence in the American justice system. With the lawsuit now in the hands of the court, AFL remains determined to uncover the truth and hold accountable those who may have compromised the integrity of the legal process in their pursuit of Trump.

  1. Come on we all know the charges are false and the only reason is to stop Trump from becoming president again. Because he will go after all of them and I’m sure a bunch of them will end up in prison and they know that! Trump 2024🇺🇲🇺🇲
