Bondi, who previously served as Florida’s Attorney General, pointed to the nation’s ongoing battle with fentanyl and drug cartels. She emphasized the Trump administration’s border policies as key to slowing the flow of narcotics. “Fentanyl was coming on the market when I was [Florida] state attorney general. And now with these cartels, it’s coming back, it’s coming in more than ever. The border has stopped that, but we’re going to catch them and we’re going to prosecute them to the fullest extent of the law,” she vowed.

But the spotlight didn’t remain on Bondi for long—Jeffrey Epstein’s name continues to stir outrage across the country. And while the left ramps up accusations and tries to reignite the scandal, one of Epstein’s own former lawyers is pushing back hard.
Famed attorney Alan Dershowitz is speaking out, asserting that it isn’t Trump’s Justice Department keeping secrets about Epstein—it’s the courts in New York. He claims that not only is there no so-called “client list,” but any potentially damning information has been legally sealed.
During a televised interview on NewsNation with Chris Cuomo, Dershowitz was pressed on whether the Trump administration was covering up explosive details. “Is the government hiding a client list or anything that the Trump Administration could release tonight?” Cuomo asked.
Dershowitz responded flatly: “No, there’s no client list and never has been a client list. A client list suggests that Jeffrey Epstein made a list of people to whom he trafficked women. What there is, is a redacted FBI affidavit from accusers. There are several of them from accusers that accuse Jeffrey — that accuse various people of having improper sex, and that has been redacted, the names of the people accused have been blacked out.”
He made it clear that none of the individuals mentioned in the sealed documents currently hold public office. “I can tell you right now: None of them are public figures who are currently in office. Some of them were previously in office. Some of them are dead. But there is no client list,” he said. Dershowitz added that while he personally knows who many of the redacted names refer to, he is legally barred from revealing them.
In a striking revelation, he turned the blame squarely toward the federal judiciary: “So, many of the things that are being suppressed are being suppressed by two judges in Manhattan… But Pam Bondi and the Justice Department and Donald Trump are not responsible for that. I don’t know of any information that they could disclose that they haven’t disclosed.”
That hasn’t stopped the usual suspects from trying to use the Epstein case to smear the Trump administration. But according to both Bondi and Dershowitz, the facts don’t support the hysteria.
Bondi is standing firm, and so is the administration. No matter how loudly critics scream “cover-up,” the evidence—and those with direct knowledge—are telling a very different story. The truth may be locked behind courtroom doors in Manhattan, but it’s not being hidden in the White House.
In the end, the question remains: are these attacks really about justice—or just another desperate political smear as the Left runs out of ammunition ahead of 2024?
