Arizona AG Goes After Trump Over Liz Cheney!

Vice President Kamala Harris also weighed in, stating Trump’s comments on Cheney should be considered “disqualifying.” She asserted, “He has increased his violent rhetoric… and in great detail suggested rifles should be trained on former Rep. Liz Cheney.” Harris didn’t hold back, adding that “anyone who wants to be president… who uses that kind of violent rhetoric, is clearly disqualified and unqualified.”

The vice president added that Trump has become increasingly “unhinged,” accusing him of fixating on revenge while neglecting the “needs and the concerns” of everyday Americans. Harris went on to say, “His enemy’s list has grown longer, his rhetoric has grown more extreme, and he is even less focused than before on the challenges facing the American people.”

The supposed threat came during an event in Arizona with popular conservative media host Tucker Carlson. Trump targeted Cheney’s foreign policy stance, pointing out what he sees as hypocrisy in politicians who advocate for war without firsthand experience on the battlefield.

Referring to Cheney as a “radical war hawk,” Trump commented on her foreign policy agenda, stating, “I don’t blame [Dick Cheney] for sticking with his daughter, but his daughter is a very dumb individual, very dumb.” He continued, “Let’s put her with a rifle standing there with 9 barrels shooting at her, okay? Let’s see how she feels about it.” Trump’s remarks were intended, as he explained later, to spotlight Cheney’s aggressive stance on military engagement, suggesting she might not be so supportive if she had to face the dangers herself.

Following the controversy, Trump took to Truth Social to defend his statements, emphasizing that his comments were aimed at Cheney’s political positions rather than a personal threat. In his post, Trump described Cheney as “a War Hawk, and a dumb one at that,” who lacks the “guts” to face the combat she so readily supports.

He elaborated further, stating, “It’s easy for her to talk, sitting far from where the death scenes take place, but put a gun in her hand, and let her go fight, and she’ll say, ‘No thanks!’” Trump extended his criticism to her father, former Vice President Dick Cheney, alleging that he “decimated the Middle East” and profited from it, all without giving a thought to the lives impacted. Trump closed his remarks by declaring, “That’s not what we want running our Country!”

Bold, Durable, and Patriotic: Trump Yard Signs Selling Out!

Trump’s comments on Cheney and the subsequent investigation by Mayes underscore a deepening division within American politics, where criticisms are increasingly seen as personal threats rather than political discourse. Supporters of the former president argue that the investigation is an overreach aimed at silencing Trump’s critiques and rallying Democrats ahead of the next election.

This investigation signals a broader trend among progressive leaders who scrutinize Trump’s statements, while his supporters view the move as yet another “witch hunt” against a former president with substantial grassroots support.

With the attorney general’s office actively investigating, Trump’s defenders view this as an attempt to manipulate the justice system. As the legal review unfolds, it could bring new clarity to how far political speech can be pushed in today’s highly polarized climate.
