In an unexpected turn of events, Elon Musk has disclosed that Twitter and Pfizer are operating an undercover campaign to restrict criticism of vaccines. With the release of this new information, concerns have been raised regarding the size and potential effects of such programs on online communication.
“More Twitter Files,” Musk said. “Some conspiracies are actually true.”
Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, recently brought attention to a tweet dispute between Alex Berenson and Twitter. Berenson’s legal victory against the platform in his case was a heartening result.

“My first #TwitterFiles report: how @scottgottliebmd – a top Pfizer board member – used the same Twitter lobbyist as the White House to suppress debate on Covid vaccines, INCLUDING FROM A FELLOW HEAD OF @US_FDA!” Berenson tweeted. “Thanks @elonmusk for opening these files.
The fascinating Substack article by Berenson is an exposé of a Twitter Files tale. It explains why leading pharma companies and former FDA officials chose to pursue legal action against mRNA vaccine detractors.
“On August 27, 2021, Dr. Scott Gottlieb – a Pfizer director with over 550,000 Twitter followers – saw a tweet he didn’t like, a tweet that might hurt sales of Pfizer’s mRNA vaccines,” Berenson notes.
“The tweet explained correctly that natural immunity after Covid infection was superior to vaccine protection,” it continued. “It called on the White House to ‘follow the science’ and exempt people with natural immunity from upcoming vaccine mandates.”
Dr. Brett Giroir made a comment on a claim made by a prominent doctor, and it elicited an unexpected response from political strategists who claimed to fact-check it. The fact that this comment was made by a renowned physician and former Food & Drug Administration executive rather than a well-known “anti-vaxxer” like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. prompted additional research by writer Alex Berenson.
With the public’s health in mind, Dr. Giroir took to Twitter to encourage those without natural immunity to stay safe by “Get vaccinated!”
Gottlieb sent an email to Todd O’Boyle, a well-known lobbyist with connections to the White House. He may use this relationship to study how the government operates on Twitter and plan appropriately.
Gottlieb said the tweet was “corrosive”. He contended it would. “end up going viral and driving news coverage.”

Twitter has sparked debate by enabling the propagation of false information about Covid on its site and blocking medical professionals who questioned the created “consensus” over their reaction to the outbreak. This has sparked concerns about Twitter’s morals and dedication to giving its users accurate information.
Pfizer has not yet issued a public comment about the just made public Twitter Files, thus it is unclear how they will respond to these allegations.
