President Donald Trump has weighed in on the shocking Lindsay Clancy case after her attorney publicly floated the possibility of seeking presidential intervention following a mistrial.
But Trump made clear Sunday that Washington cannot simply step into the Massachusetts case.
The president described the deaths of Clancy’s three young children as a tragedy with no possible good outcome while explaining that the matter belongs to state authorities — not the federal government.
