US Airman Reveals What Happened Over Iran

An American airman who spent roughly two days injured and alone inside hostile Iranian territory is finally telling the extraordinary story of how he made it out alive.

The Air Force colonel, publicly identified only by his mission call sign “Bravo,” was serving as the weapons systems officer aboard an F-15E Strike Eagle when an Iranian missile reportedly slammed into the aircraft in April.

The jet, known as Dude 44, was carrying Bravo and a pilot identified by the call sign “Alpha.”
