Donald Trump Jr. used one of the biggest Republican gatherings of the 2026 campaign season to deliver a fiery warning about political extremism, invoking the assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk and condemning those who celebrated his death.
Speaking before roughly 20,000 Republicans in Dallas on September 10, Trump Jr. marked one year since Kirk was fatally shot and argued that the reaction to the killing exposed something deeply troubling in American politics.
“One year ago today, my good friend Charlie Kirk was cut down by an assassin’s bullet,” Trump Jr. told the crowd.
