Walz Partners with UN… Trump Didn’t See THIS Coming

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

“We’ve always partnered with our federal authorities when needed, and I made the move yesterday, using my executive authority to put a commission together. We are capturing all of the stories. We being the ACLU, a lot of groups, especially immigrant groups, folks at the United Nations and in Geneva are working because what happened in Minnesota and the absolute horrific assault on this state, if this happened in another country— it wasn’t that long ago that the United States was a voice of reason, decency and human rights— We would investigate those things.”

His remarks raised eyebrows across political circles, particularly the mention of collaboration with the United Nations. Critics argue that involving international entities in a domestic law enforcement dispute crosses a line, while supporters claim it reflects the seriousness of the allegations.

Walz did not stop there. He doubled down on his criticism of the administration and made it clear that the legal fight will continue long after the current political cycle ends.

“We’re going to do that here, and we’re going to capture these stories. And so if Donald Trump, like so many things, thinks he can move on from Greenland, Venezuela, pirate of the war in Iran that he started, till his till the final days of this administration and beyond, Minnesotans will ask for justice. We demand it. We have to do that.”

Behind the scenes, Minnesota prosecutors are taking aggressive steps. Officials in Hennepin County have filed a federal lawsuit against both the Department of Homeland Security and the Department of Justice, seeking access to evidence that federal authorities have so far refused to provide.

The move has been described as unprecedented, signaling just how far state leaders are willing to go to force compliance. Keith Ellison made it clear that Minnesota will not back down.

“The federal government has refused to cooperate with state law enforcement, which is unique, rare and simply cannot be tolerated,” Ellison told reporters. “[We] can’t sit around and let them do it.”

Complicating matters further, federal officials have declined to release the identities of the agents involved in the shootings, even after independent reporting identified individuals tied to the incidents. That lack of transparency has only intensified tensions and fueled accusations of a federal cover-up.

Legal observers say the stakes are enormous. The outcome of this case could redefine how states interact with federal law enforcement agencies, especially in cases involving use of force.

There is also the looming possibility of criminal charges. State prosecutors are reportedly considering whether to pursue legal action against the agents involved, a move that could trigger a constitutional clash over jurisdiction and authority.

As the legal battle unfolds, one thing is certain: this is no longer just about a handful of incidents in Minnesota. It has become a broader confrontation over power, accountability, and the limits of federal authority.

And with both sides refusing to back down, the fight is only just beginning.
