A disturbing and deeply controversial demonstration unfolded in Philadelphia this week, where a group of masked protesters gathered outside City Hall and unleashed a wave of rhetoric that many are calling outright anti-American extremism.
What was billed as a “Hands Off Iran” rally quickly spiraled into something far more alarming.
According to footage and eyewitness accounts, demonstrators openly praised U.S. adversaries, celebrated violence against American troops, and even set fire to American flags in full public view. The event, held in one of America’s most historic cities, drew immediate backlash and raised serious questions about the growing intensity of radical protest movements.
At the center of the outrage is video captured by independent journalist Frank Scales, which shows a speaker addressing the crowd while wearing a bright red hoodie. The crowd can be heard cheering as the speaker delivers remarks that many have described as shocking and inflammatory.
“Until we have done everything in our power to bring the United States to its knees, let us not lose sight of the enemy. For every U.S. military base that crumbles, and for every U.S. soldier who returns home in a casket, we cheer!”
