Schiff Caught in Massive Mortgage Scam?

California Democrat Senator Adam Schiff is now the subject of a serious federal investigation involving long-standing mortgage fraud allegations. Fox News’ Laura Ingraham confirmed Tuesday night that the U.S. Attorney’s Office in Maryland is digging into Schiff’s shady real estate dealings — and it’s not looking good for the high-profile Democrat.

According to Ingraham’s exclusive report, investigators are zeroing in on Schiff’s repeated claims that a Potomac, Maryland property he purchased with his wife in 2003 was their “primary residence.” That designation helped Schiff secure better loan terms — but there’s a major problem: while swearing that he lived in Maryland, Schiff continued to vote in California and simultaneously claimed a condo in Los Angeles as his “primary residence.”

It was conservative journalist Joe Hoft at The Gateway Pundit who first flagged Schiff’s suspicious behavior in April 2023. But now, nearly a year and a half later, federal prosecutors appear to be taking a closer look.

Schiff, who was first elected to Congress in 2000, refinanced the Maryland property multiple times — in 2009, 2010, 2011, and 2013 — each time reasserting it as his “primary residence.” But records show Schiff was never truly living full-time in the state. In fact, a 2009 House Ethics investigation even found that he improperly claimed a tax exemption reserved for primary residences. Schiff’s excuse? He said it was all a mistake and simply repaid the money to Maryland.
