Just In: Patel & Bondi Announce STUNNING Arrest!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

According to court documents, Katsampes not only joined one of the horrific websites in 2022 but quickly took on a leadership role. He reportedly acted as a moderator, instructed other users on how to share illegal materials, and strictly enforced rules for disseminating CSAM that included content involving prepubescent children.

“These offenders thought that they could act without consequences, but they were wrong,” said Acting Assistant Attorney General Matthew R. Galeotti. “Thanks to the relentless determination of our prosecutors and law enforcement partners, we have exposed these perpetrators, eliminated their websites, and brought justice to countless victims.”

Kash Patel: ‘You Cannot Hide’

FBI Director Kash Patel, who is helping spearhead the push for more accountability in federal law enforcement, had strong words for anyone who thinks the dark web can shield evil.

“You cannot hide behind anonymity to harm children,” Patel declared.

He called the takedown “one of the most significant strikes ever made against online child exploitation networks.”

Pure Evil, Global Reach

Investigators described the shuttered websites as pure evil — some even had sections dedicated to babies, toddlers, and scenes of extreme violence including sadistic torture. These platforms weren’t just disturbing; they were also alarmingly well-organized.

Some of the sites operated like corporations, with user hierarchies, internal rules, staff meetings, and technical instructions for maintaining server uptime. Even more disturbing, users were taught how to avoid law enforcement using encryption and anonymization methods. One FBI source said the platforms collectively boasted more than 120,000 users and received over 100,000 visits in a single day.

Florida Sentences: Judges Drop the Hammer

Just in the Southern District of Florida alone, eight more convicted individuals received stiff prison sentences:

  • Selwyn David Rosenstein (FL) – 28 years
  • Matthew Branden Garrell (NC) – 20 years and 10 months
  • Robert Preston Boyles (TN) – 23 years and 4 months
  • Gregory Malcolm Good (NV) – 25 years and 10 months
  • William Michael Spearman (AL) – Life in prison
  • Joseph Addison Martin (WA) – 42 years
  • Joseph Robert Stewart (WA) – 23 years and 9 months
  • Keith David McIntosh (MI) – 55 years

At least two more suspects connected to the case died before formal charges could be filed. Meanwhile, arrests weren’t limited to American soil. Law enforcement in the UK, Germany, Italy, Belgium, the Netherlands, Estonia, and South Africa all assisted in the sweeping takedown.

Justice Is Just Beginning

The relentless international operation was made possible by the DOJ’s Child Exploitation and Obscenity Section, the FBI’s Child Exploitation Operational Unit, and various U.S. Attorney’s offices — all under the DOJ’s Project Safe Childhood initiative, launched in 2006 to combat child exploitation.

“Let this be a clear warning,” said U.S. Attorney Hayden P. O’Byrne for the Southern District of Florida. “We will relentlessly pursue and prosecute anyone engaged in such atrocities, no matter how they attempt to cover their tracks.”

This chilling case stands as a wake-up call to the tech industry, law enforcement, and governments across the globe — the internet is no safe haven for predators. And as this investigation shows, the forces of justice will find you, no matter where you try to hide.
