Just four months into his tenure, New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani is already confronting a financial storm that he says threatens the stability of the nation’s largest city. In stark language during a recent public briefing, Mamdani warned that the city is facing what he described as a “budget crisis of historic magnitude,” pointing to years of accumulated fiscal strain and rising obligations that are now coming due all at once.
The mayor did not attempt to soften the message, laying out what he believes is the depth of the problem inherited by his administration. He said the city is now dealing with “a deficit larger than any since the Great Recession.” The comparison immediately raised eyebrows, as it signals a level of financial pressure not seen in well over a decade.
According to current city estimates, the budget shortfall is expected to fall somewhere between $5.4 billion and $6 billion. That figure places New York City’s gap among the largest in recent memory, and it has quickly become the defining issue of Mamdani’s early months in office. While officials acknowledge that some level of deficit was anticipated, the scale and urgency of the current numbers have escalated the political and fiscal stakes dramatically.

One thing about these politicians and bureaucrats, or whatever they call themselves. They have no money management skills. And the Socialist, Marxist, Communist, radical Islam belief system targets education of kids at school and colleges to push that disaster. Has no place in any society. None of this Democrat and some Republican belief system is good. Therefore, God rejects this. Keep it out of everything. If you Repent. Pray in Jesus Name. Get Baptized. Then God gives the Holy Spirit for understanding. Otherwise you are lost, cannot understand, or go to Heaven.
