“You MARRIED Your Brother!” – MTG EXPLODES on Omar

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Her statement set off an immediate and vitriolic response from Omar, a longtime critic of both Trump and Greene.

“Absolutely vile. Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd in a modern day lynching— it was chilling and intentional,” Omar replied. “Also hate to break it to you, Marjorie, but regardless of any potential pardon, Chauvin will remain in jail for his state conviction. He will forever be a convicted murderer in the eyes of the law and the world.”

Never one to back down from a confrontation, Greene punched back with a scorching response.

“Busy day fighting Democrats. First Mike Lawler who is trying to destroy Trump’s agenda and now illegal alien Ilhan Omar of Somalia. Ilhan, you know what’s vile? Having sex with and marrying your brother!!!” Greene wrote.

The jab was a reference to longstanding allegations, denied by Omar, that she committed immigration fraud by marrying her brother to skirt U.S. immigration laws. While Omar has repeatedly dismissed the claims as a “far-right fantasy,” some members of her Somali-American community have asserted otherwise.

The original incident that sparked nationwide protests remains a polarizing subject. Video footage from 2020 shows Chauvin kneeling on George Floyd’s neck for nearly nine minutes. The moment became a rallying cry for the Black Lives Matter movement and ushered in a wave of anti-police sentiment nationwide.

However, many on the right continue to question the official narrative surrounding Floyd’s death, pointing to his toxicology report which indicated the presence of fentanyl and other substances in his system.

Greene highlighted this in her follow-up, sharing medical documents showing high levels of fentanyl and norfentanyl in Floyd’s bloodstream.

“George Floyd died from a drug overdose. He was one of the hundreds of thousands of Americans killed by fentanyl that is trafficked across our border by cartels,” Greene wrote. “Jasmine Crockett doesn’t care about Americans killed by drugs like George Floyd, she cares about protecting cartels from being deported.”

Her comment was aimed at Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-TX), who had chimed in earlier in the day to support Omar and dispute Greene’s claims.

“You can lie to yourself all day, but the rest of us remember exactly what happened,” Crockett had written.

Despite the firestorm, there has been no formal word from Trump or his campaign on whether a Chauvin pardon is being considered. Still, the rumor has provided ample ammunition for critics and supporters alike to draw battle lines ahead of the 2024 election.

Some conservatives believe the entire controversy was intentionally manufactured to provoke outrage and distract from Biden’s mounting failures. Others argue it’s part of a broader push to reassess the justice system’s treatment of law enforcement under political pressure.

Whether the pardon rumor holds any weight or not, one thing is clear: the debate over George Floyd’s death, Derek Chauvin’s conviction, and the future of American justice is far from over. And as Greene and Omar continue to trade blows in public, the nation watches—divided as ever.
