“You MARRIED Your Brother!” – MTG EXPLODES on Omar

A fiery political battle broke out this week between Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) and progressive Rep. Ilhan Omar (D-MN) after speculation surfaced about a possible pardon for former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin. The clash, which quickly spread across social media and cable news, revealed a deep rift between conservatives and left-wing Democrats on the legacy of George Floyd’s death and the broader implications of law and order in America.

Unconfirmed reports emerged earlier this week suggesting that President Donald Trump might consider pardoning Derek Chauvin if he returns to the White House in 2025. Chauvin is currently serving two lengthy sentences—21 years in federal prison and an additional 22.5 years under a state conviction—for his role in the death of George Floyd in 2020.

As the political world caught wind of the rumor, Greene wasted no time jumping into the fray.

“I strongly support Derek Chauvin being pardoned and released from prison. George Floyd died of a drug overdose,” Greene declared on X, igniting a political wildfire.
