Donald Trump’s Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff, Gen. Mark Milley, refuted allegations that he gave unlawful commands. Gen. Milley stated in an interview with ABC that Trump did not behave in a “dangerous dictator” manner as some left-wing detractors have claimed.
There is no denying Milley’s treachery to Trump during his administration. He allegedly initiated a number of assaults on the former president while acting as our commander in chief.
General Milley, a top military official, is accused of working secretly against former President Trump with China, the US’s main foe. His remarks cannot thus be discounted as simply Trump allegiance.
Despite Milley’s apparent anti-Trump sentiment, he eventually agreed with Martha Raddatz of ABC that Trump never issued any “illegal orders.”
Raddatz probed the general’s opinions on the events that took place during the capital incursion on January 6, 2021, in an engrossing Sunday interview. She asked if this worrying episode portended the demise of democracy.
“You saw what happened on Jan. 6. Are you nervous about that happening again? Can you honestly say you’re not nervous about that happening again?” During her interview on Sunday, Raddatz questioned.
Milley made no mention of any worries.
“No, I’m not nervous about it,” Milley replied. “I don’t get nervous about a lot of things. I’ve seen a lot of combat. So I’m beyond that actually.”
Milley openly recounts his war experience, however unusual that may seem. Milley’s considerable experience in battles is obvious, in contrast to most soldiers who avoid bragging. However, rather than being on the front lines, his function was more frequently one of command.
Raddatz challenges the general on his worries regarding a possible replay of January 6.

“I am confident that the United States and the democracy in this country will prevail and the rule of law will prevail,” Milley exclaimed. “These institutions are built to be strong, resilient and to adapt to the times, and I’m 100 percent confident we’ll be fine.”
Raddatz is advised by Milley not to believe that the present is inherently worse than the past.
“There’s a term I’ve talked to people about the ‘conceit of the present,’ where people think that the present is always the worst. Well, it’s not always the worst,” Milley said.
“This is not the toughest time. America will prevail, it will come through stronger on the other end and the American people are gonna be just fine,” Milley said.
Raddatz worked tirelessly to make Trump the enemy in Milley’s story.
Did Trump illegally instruct the general to hold onto power after Election Day despite Biden’s victory?
“Was there concern?” Raddatz wanted to know whether Milley would discuss the military’s urgent actions to resist Trump’s illegal attempts to hold onto power in violation of the democratic election.
“No, you know, I argued the case at various times for alternative courses of action. Never received an illegal order,” Milley firmly replied.
If this general was after Trump, he had the perfect chance with this Raddatz interview since he drafted an undeliverable resignation letter and privately informed individuals that he believed Trump was causing “great and irreparable harm to my country.”
Milley has not wavered. He denies that Trump ever issued any “illegal orders,” refuting the extreme leftists’ unfounded claims that he is a “dictator.”
Trump, unlike certain politicians, has never used totalitarian methods. He never suppressed dissent, mistreated government institutions, or violated the Constitution throughout his time in office. Does Joe Biden have the same right?
