Trump: “They Were Paid to Riot!”

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Meanwhile, just blocks from the freeway ambush, other factions of rioters erected makeshift barricades outside Los Angeles City Hall. Police moved in to dismantle the blockades, deploying tear gas and less-lethal rounds as mounted units pushed forward behind a tightening perimeter.

As the violence raged, Trump issued a blistering statement on Truth Social:
“Governor Gavin Newscum and ‘Mayor’ Bass should apologize to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrible job that they have done, and this now includes the ongoing L.A. riots,” he wrote.
“These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and insurrectionists. Remember, NO MASKS!”

In a stunning image of hostility, one rioter was caught on camera holding a mock severed head resembling Trump—a chilling echo of past radical theatrics aimed at provoking violence. In another disturbing act, a Molotov cocktail was hurled onto an abandoned LAPD vehicle left behind during the retreat.

The situation has deteriorated to the point where federal intervention is now underway. Trump invoked emergency authority to federalize California’s National Guard, placing 2,000 troops under Title 10 status to restore order in LA and protect federal property.

According to a Pentagon statement, “approximately 2,000 California Army National Guard soldiers have been placed under federal command and control in a Title 10 status to support the protection of federal personnel and federal property in the greater Los Angeles area.”

Current deployments include nearly 300 troops from the 79th Infantry Brigade Combat Team now stationed in Los Angeles, Paramount, and Compton.

A separate federal press release revealed that these troops would remain mobilized for at least 60 days—“or at the discretion of the Secretary of Defense”—highlighting the seriousness of the threat posed by these organized mobs.

And it’s not just Los Angeles. The unrest appears to be spreading. As of 7 p.m. Pacific time, reports indicated masked demonstrators were assembling outside an ICE facility in San Francisco after far-left organizers connected to Antifa declared a nationwide “day of action.”

The Biden administration has remained conspicuously silent on the violence, prompting critics to accuse Democratic leadership of abdicating its basic responsibility to maintain law and order.

The developing riots—and Trump’s swift federal response—are fueling a political firestorm just as the 2024 campaign trail heats up. With Trump branding the violent agitators as “paid insurrectionists,” the battle lines over law, order, and public safety are once again being drawn.

This story is still unfolding.
