According to a report from the Daily Mail, employees of the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) were caught off guard when they received late-night emails warning them not to report to work. NBC News confirmed the details.

“At the direction of Agency leadership, the USAID headquarters at the Ronald Reagan building in Washington, D.C. will be closed to Agency personnel on Monday, February 3, 2025,” the internal email read.
