Trump Just SHUT DOWN USAID—Media in Meltdown!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

The notice informed staff that those who usually work at the agency’s headquarters would be required to work remotely, except for essential personnel needed for building maintenance. It also promised additional instructions in the coming days.

Reports indicate that at least 600 employees were effectively locked out overnight. USAID, which had over 10,000 employees as of 2016, now appears to be in a state of operational paralysis.

In a further twist, the agency’s official website has been taken offline. Attempts to access its pages now lead to a dead link message reading: “This site can’t be reached.”

This dramatic move aligns with a promise made by X owner and DOGE chairman Elon Musk, who has been outspoken about the agency’s fate. During an audio discussion on X, Musk didn’t mince words about the need for USAID’s total dismantling.

“It became apparent that it’s not an apple with a worm in it,” Musk stated. “What we have is just a ball of worms. You’ve got to basically get rid of the whole thing. It’s beyond repair.”

“We’re shutting it down,” he added, leaving no doubt about the agency’s future.

In a related development, two high-ranking USAID officials, John Vorhees and his deputy Brian McGill, have been placed on leave after allegedly obstructing Musk’s team from accessing classified information. According to reports, the pair falsely claimed that DOGE employees lacked the necessary security clearances to review the classified material.

In a swift response, USAID’s official X (formerly Twitter) account—boasting one million followers—was deleted, alongside its main website, erasing much of its online presence.

As readers of The Gateway Pundit and similar outlets are aware, USAID has long been accused of serving as an arm of the CIA. President Trump and Elon Musk’s leadership team have taken radical steps to dismantle the agency, a move many conservatives see as necessary.

There’s a well-documented history of USAID being linked to questionable activities. In 2014, the agency funneled $5 billion into Ukraine, fueling mass unrest—a fact highlighted by Robert F. Kennedy Jr. Additionally, USAID played a key role in financing EcoHealth Alliance, an organization that received $53 million in taxpayer funds. EcoHealth, in turn, used this money to conduct controversial ‘gain-of-function’ research on coronaviruses at the Wuhan Institute of Virology—research that many believe contributed to the emergence of COVID-19.

The sudden closure of USAID represents a seismic shift in how America approaches foreign aid and covert operations. With Trump and Musk at the helm, it appears that deep-state entities embedded within agencies like USAID are facing an unprecedented reckoning. The full extent of this shake-up remains to be seen, but for now, one thing is certain—USAID’s days are over.
