Top Prosecutor QUITS Over Garcia Indictment!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Schrader’s bold departure comes just as the federal government unveiled an indictment against Abrego Garcia for allegedly trafficking illegal immigrants across the United States—charges that come with severe prison time if he’s convicted.

According to the grand jury indictment out of Tennessee, Abrego Garcia stands accused of conspiring with a network of individuals spanning El Salvador, Guatemala, Mexico, and the United States to move undocumented migrants into the country illegally. Prosecutors say this trafficking operation was active from 2016 through 2025.

He now faces one count of conspiracy to transport aliens and one count of illegal transportation of undocumented immigrants—each charge carrying up to a decade behind bars per individual alien smuggled.

The DOJ didn’t mince words about what’s at stake:

“If convicted at trial, the defendant faces a maximum punishment of 10 years’ imprisonment for ‘each alien’ he transported,” the government said.

But sources inside the department say the case has more to do with headlines than justice. Critics believe Abrego Garcia’s prosecution is being wielded as a political weapon—yet another attempt to parade “tough-on-immigration” credentials in the lead-up to the 2024 election cycle.

Adding fuel to the controversy is the revelation that Abrego Garcia was previously ordered deported by an immigration judge in 2019. Despite this ruling, he remained in the U.S. unlawfully for years before eventually being sent back to El Salvador.

After his return, Abrego Garcia was initially locked up in the infamous CECOT mega-prison—known for housing the most violent gang members in El Salvador. But oddly, he was soon transferred to a lower-security facility in San Salvador, raising eyebrows about what leverage or deals might be behind the scenes.

Just weeks ago, U.S. authorities arranged to bring him back into the country, this time to face federal prosecution for crimes tied to immigration trafficking.

In a press briefing, former Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi spoke on the case, saying Abrego Garcia will ultimately be returned to El Salvador once legal proceedings wrap up.

WATCH:

More disturbing, however, is the government’s claim that one of Abrego Garcia’s co-conspirators tipped off federal agents about his alleged involvement in a grisly murder.

ABC News reported that the co-conspirator accused Abrego Garcia of orchestrating the killing of a rival gang member’s mother—a chilling reminder of the type of violence that MS-13 has long been known for.

Schrader’s resignation marks a rare act of defiance inside the DOJ, signaling that not everyone is willing to go along with what some insiders describe as a weaponization of justice.

While Washington remains silent, the resignation of a respected career prosecutor may be the clearest signal yet that the Biden DOJ has crossed a dangerous line—one where prosecutions serve politics first, and justice second.
