Sorry, Kristen! Trump DESTROYS Media Hack Live!

“Just remember, the Unselect Committee, a year and a half of sworn testimony. After getting all of the testimony, they deleted it. Wait… They destroyed almost everything. There’s nothing left. It’s unprecedented,” Trump stated.

Welker countered, claiming officials deny such accusations: “They deny doing that. Officials say that the order never came in for the National Guard.”

Trump doubled down, accusing the committee of covering up evidence that exonerated him. “I’m telling you, they deleted and destroyed all the evidence. Everyone knows it,” he declared, emphasizing that such actions would be illegal in any other context.

Trump also took the opportunity to criticize what he views as systemic bias in the media, citing his unprecedented vote totals in 2020 as proof that Americans have lost trust in legacy outlets.

“No President has ever gotten treated by the press like I was,” Trump remarked. “And yet I got more votes than any Republican candidate in history. By far, it’s not even close. The press has lost all credibility.”

He contrasted his treatment with what he called “softball” interviews given to Joe Biden, referring to instances where questions revolved around trivial topics like Biden’s favorite ice cream flavor.

“You would think the press would like to see strong borders, great education, a powerful military… and somehow, they don’t want to see that,” he added, underscoring his frustration with what he perceives as the media’s neglect of substantive issues.

While Trump accused Welker of hostility, the Meet the Press host attempted to push back. “Well, hopefully, you thought it was a fair interview. We covered a lot of policy ground,” she said.

Trump retorted that fairness could only be claimed because he was allowed to speak, though he maintained her questions were “pretty nasty.”

The tense exchange highlighted the deep divide between Trump and the mainstream media, a relationship marked by mutual distrust and starkly opposing narratives.

Trump’s appearance on Meet the Press comes as he ramps up his campaign for the 2024 presidential race. His willingness to engage in contentious interviews signals his strategy of using media platforms, even those he criticizes, to communicate directly with voters.

The interview, unsurprisingly, has already become a flashpoint in the ongoing debate over media bias, January 6, and Trump’s legacy—a potent mix of topics that will undoubtedly dominate headlines in the weeks to come.

As Trump put it, “It’s fair only in that you allowed me to say what I say.” And say it, he did.
