Oregon’s Governor Turns on Federal Agents! (WATCH)

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

During her appearance, Kotek said:

“This is not a war zone. We don’t have a challenge here in terms of managing lawful demonstrations outside the ICE building.

And I believe that they are looking back at information from 2020 and assuming this is the same. Look, lawful demonstrations happen in the city of Portland outside of this facility. It is being managed. What I’m seeing and what we’re seeing and what the mayor is seeing on the ground is an escalation from the agents who are protecting the building, trying to antagonize those protesters who are there.

And I would like to de-escalate the situation. We don’t need a military intervention. And let’s remember the federal judge agreed with that argument, not once, but twice. The federal government has not made a compelling case, based on the evidence on the ground, that there is an actual problem as it relates to being an insurrection or a rebellion or whatever they think this is.”

See the video below:

It’s a stunning statement coming from the top elected official in Oregon — one that ignores years of lawlessness and violence from Antifa groups who have essentially held Portland hostage. Kotek insists there’s “no problem,” yet businesses continue to flee the downtown area, homelessness has exploded, and families no longer feel safe walking the streets at night.

Trump Survivor Coin

Critics say Kotek’s comments show just how detached Democrat leaders have become from the everyday realities of the people they claim to represent. Instead of supporting law enforcement, they side with those who burn flags and attack police. Instead of condemning criminals, they blame federal agents for defending government property.

Kotek’s attempt to shift blame is part of a larger pattern within the Democratic Party — a refusal to confront the growing extremism within their own ranks. By calling federal officers the aggressors, she’s effectively telling citizens not to believe the video evidence that’s circulated for years showing mobs of rioters causing destruction in her city.

Meanwhile, ordinary Portland residents are paying the price. Property damage costs have climbed into the millions, and police morale is at an all-time low. Many officers have already resigned, citing the constant hostility from politicians and a lack of support from state leaders like Kotek.

The reality is simple: Portland doesn’t need fewer federal officers — it needs stronger leadership willing to restore order and stand up to the radicals. But for Kotek, admitting that would mean alienating the very activists and far-left donors who helped her into office.

Once again, the Democrat strategy is clear: deny, deflect, and demonize law enforcement — even as their cities burn.

Kotek’s remarks prove she’s more interested in protecting her political base than protecting Oregon families. And until that changes, Portland’s decline will continue — one broken window, one burned building, and one failed Democrat policy at a time.
