In an unfolding controversy, newly released footage captured by a C-SPAN reporter reveals the tense moment when Republican vice-presidential nominee J.D. Vance was denied entry at a popular Pittsburgh restaurant, Primanti Brothers. The Ohio Senator visited the North Versailles location on Saturday to meet with supporters, but a surprising clash with restaurant management turned what should have been a routine campaign stop into a viral incident.
Vance arrived at the restaurant to greet a sizable crowd of supporters, many of whom had gathered to show their enthusiasm and enjoy some food ahead of the Republican candidate’s visit. According to Sean Logue, a Pittsburgh-area attorney and Washington County Republican Party chairman, the group had planned to welcome Vance as he made his way through Pennsylvania.

“The restaurant was filled with Trump supporters who had ordered food while waiting for J.D. to arrive,” Logue recounted. But what happened next stunned the group. A manager at the restaurant reportedly banned Vance from entering the building, telling the gathered crowd that they would need to leave.
