A political firestorm is erupting around a group of six Democrat lawmakers now branded by critics as “The Seditious Six.” What began as backlash over a controversial video that appeared to encourage defiance within the military ranks has escalated into something far more serious: mounting allegations of large-scale campaign finance fraud and money laundering.

The lawmakers at the center of the storm are Sens. Elissa Slotkin of Michigan and Mark Kelly of Arizona, alongside Reps. Chris Deluzio and Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania, Maggie Goodlander of New Hampshire, and Jason Crow of Colorado. According to investigative journalist Bob Cushman, these six Democrats may have benefited from a sophisticated donation-laundering network that funneled millions into left-wing campaigns.
Cushman’s new analysis, based on Federal Election Commission (FEC) data, points to 22 suspicious donor profiles known as “smurfs” — identities allegedly hijacked to generate nearly three million dollars across more than 95,000 micro-donations. All six lawmakers reportedly received funds from one or more of these suspicious accounts.
