Karmelo Anthony MURDER Case Shocks Nation!

In a case that has stirred outrage and disbelief across Texas, 17-year-old Karmelo Anthony is set to stand trial as an adult for the savage murder of 18-year-old Austin Metcalf during a high school championship track meet last month in Frisco.

The fatal incident unfolded at Kuykendall Stadium, where what should have been a day of athletic celebration turned into a crime scene. Authorities say a dispute over seating led to Anthony pulling a knife and stabbing Metcalf, ending the young man’s life in an act of violence that stunned students, families, and the local community.

The Collin County District Attorney’s Office, located just north of Dallas, is leading the prosecution. Due to Texas law, teens aged 16 and 17 can be tried as adults for serious crimes, and this case is no exception.

Anthony faces a first-degree murder charge. If convicted, he could receive a life sentence with a chance for parole after 40 years. However, under Supreme Court precedent, prosecutors are barred from seeking the death penalty or life without parole for crimes committed by juveniles.
