Fed Workers Caught Off Guard by Elon’s Email!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Earlier on Saturday morning, Trump sent out an all-caps message on Truth Social praising Musk but pushing for more action. “ELON IS DOING A GREAT JOB, BUT I WOULD LIKE TO SEE HIM GET MORE AGGRESSIVE. REMEMBER, WE HAVE A COUNTRY TO SAVE, BUT ULTIMATELY, TO MAKE GREATER THAN EVER BEFORE. MAGA!”

Mere hours later, the wheels were already turning. Reports emerged that federal workers had started receiving the now-infamous email sent from the Office of Personnel Management (OPM). Notably, the email itself did not include Musk’s earlier threat about resignations.

The email’s subject line? Straight to the point: “What did you do last week?”

It instructed employees:

  • Reply with approximately five bullet points detailing accomplishments from the previous week.
  • CC their manager.
  • Avoid sending any classified information, links, or attachments.
  • Meet the deadline—Monday at 11:59 p.m. EST.

The Trump White House Rapid Response Team wasted no time, posting online, “Just got this email. Where do we begin?”—followed by five bullet points showcasing President Trump’s recent achievements. A clear shot at bureaucrats who might struggle to justify their taxpayer-funded positions.

Predictably, unions erupted in outrage. Everett Kelley, president of the American Federation of Government Employees (AFGE), slammed the initiative as an attack on public servants:

“Once again, Elon Musk and the Trump Administration have shown their utter disdain for federal employees and the critical services they provide to the American people.

“It is cruel and disrespectful to hundreds of thousands of veterans who are wearing their second uniform in the civil service to be forced to justify their job duties to this out-of-touch, privileged, unelected billionaire who has never performed one single hour of honest public service in his life.

“AFGE will challenge any unlawful terminations of our members and federal employees across the country.”

Politico reported that the email reached federal workers across multiple agencies, including the State Department, the National Institutes of Health, the General Services Administration, Veterans Affairs, and the Food and Drug Administration, among others.

Just Released: Trump White House Collector’s Bobblehead!

For too long, bloated bureaucracies have functioned without accountability, draining taxpayers while delivering little in return. Musk’s move signals a shake-up—a wake-up call for federal employees who have long enjoyed the comfort of unchallenged job security.

But will his hardline approach hold up against legal challenges? Will unions succeed in shielding underperforming employees from scrutiny?

One thing is certain: Trump and Musk are setting a new tone in Washington. And for career bureaucrats, the days of coasting may soon be over.
