Just hours after President Donald Trump urged Elon Musk to “get more aggressive,” the billionaire tech mogul delivered. On Saturday afternoon, Musk announced that an email would be sent to federal employees demanding they account for their work in the past week—or face the consequences.
Musk made his position crystal clear, warning, “Failure to respond will be taken as a resignation.” However, questions quickly surfaced regarding whether federal resignation policies allow such an ultimatum over a simple email.
