Wisconsin Governor Tony Evers is pushing a radical language shift that has conservatives outraged. The Democrat leader’s latest budget recommendation seeks to erase gender-specific terms from state law, swapping out the word “mother” for the bizarre phrase “inseminated person” in official documents.
The sweeping changes, included in the administration’s proposed 2025-2027 budget, aim to remove so-called “gendered language.” The words “paternity” and “father” would be replaced with gender-neutral alternatives like “parentage” and “parent.” Meanwhile, “husband” and “wife” would be scrapped in favor of the generic term “spouse,” according to Fox News.
