In her court filings, St. Clair details how her relationship with Musk began in May 2023 and how the child was conceived in January 2024. She provided text messages as evidence, including one where Musk allegedly acknowledged the child after his birth, stating, “I look forward to seeing you and him this weekend.” She included a screenshot of this exchange in her petition.

Despite this message, St. Clair claims Musk has only visited the child three times: once for two hours on September 21, 2024, for an hour the following day, and again on November 30, 2024, for just 30 minutes. Adding fuel to the controversy, St. Clair included another alleged text from Musk dated November 24, 2024, where he reportedly told her, “I want to knock you up again.” Three months later, he allegedly sent another message stating, “Well, we do have a legion of kids to make.”

St. Clair’s representative, Brian Glicklich, defended her actions, telling PEOPLE, “Ashley St. Clair has filed paternity and custody petitions to protect the best interests of her child. She has made every effort to collaborate with Mr. Musk before taking this step. She has no further comment on the contents of the petitions, which speak for themselves.”
The legal drama quickly took a shocking turn when conservative commentator Laura Loomer accused St. Clair of orchestrating a calculated scheme against Musk.
“So Ashley wanted ‘privacy,’ but she took screenshots of Elon’s private Signal messages that were on a timer to expire?” Loomer posted. “How long was she planning her attack on Elon? She took the pics with another phone because Signal alerts you when someone screenshots your texts for PRIVACY.”
Loomer didn’t hold back, slamming St. Clair as a “gold digger” and blasting any conservatives who would support her claims. “I want privacy. Let me post screenshots of my encrypted messages on Signal that I took with a second phone so I could lie about respecting someone’s privacy,” she mocked. “Shame on any conservative who is enabling this type of deceptive and promiscuous behavior.”
Adding to the controversy, MAGA influencer Isabella Moody, a close friend of both St. Clair and Loomer, exposed what she calls St. Clair’s “baby trap” plot. Moody provided screenshots of texts allegedly sent by St. Clair in May 2023, in which she boasted about wanting Musk’s child.

“I agree with Laura Loomer,” Moody wrote. “I wasn’t going to post these, but now that Ashley St. Clair has leaked her private Signal messages with Elon Musk after lying and saying she ‘wanted privacy,’ here’s more evidence Ashley planned to ‘baby trap’ Elon.”
Moody’s tweet included what she claimed were messages from St. Clair: “I need his rocket babies” and “I need a caption to seduce Elon Musk.”

The accusations quickly gained traction, drawing a response from Musk himself, who reacted to Moody’s revelations with a simple yet telling: ‘Whoa!’ and ‘Yikes.’
With this legal battle unfolding, questions remain: Is Musk truly a deadbeat father, or has he been the target of a carefully crafted trap? The court will have the final say, but for now, the drama continues to unravel in the public eye.
