The design immediately triggered comparisons to the legendary Plymouth Superbird that helped racing icon Richard Petty dominate NASCAR during the golden age of stock car racing.

And for many enthusiasts, it felt like Dodge finally remembered who its real customers are.

The reveal comes after a brutal stretch for the company following its heavily criticized push into electric muscle cars under former Stellantis leadership.

When the Dodge Charger Daytona EV first arrived, executives insisted the future of performance had gone electric. Buyers responded with something much different: rejection.
