Czech Racer Outruns Police for 6 YEARS!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Outsmarting the Authorities

From 2019 onward, calls flooded police hotlines: reports of a red Formula-style car streaking across the D4 highway. But by the time authorities arrived, the phantom was already gone.

He operated with precision. He’d make his runs, disappear before law enforcement could mobilize, and then upload videos that had fellow car enthusiasts cheering him on.

Trump Survivor Coin

Social media lit up with grainy photos of the “red rocket” slipping through traffic, as if mocking the authorities.

But while many thought he was behind the wheel of a Ferrari F1, it turned out the machine was actually a Dallara GP2/08 from the 2008–2010 racing series—an absolute beast.

Powered by a 4.0-liter V8 revving to 10,000 RPM and generating 620 horsepower, it was far from street-legal. Yet his son insists they kept it somewhat restrained: the car “never went faster than 124 mph on public roads.”

The Fatal Mistake

After years of embarrassing police, one simple mistake brought the fantasy crashing down.

On a quiet Sunday morning, witnesses spotted the car pulling into a gas station near Dobříš, just outside Prague, and phoned it in. Minutes later, another call reported the same car racing down the D4 toward Příbram.

This time, Czech police pulled out all the stops—dispatching multiple patrol cars and even a helicopter to capture the man whose biggest “crime” was living out every petrolhead’s dream.

Fifteen minutes later, they tracked him down at his home in Buk.

A Hollywood-Style Arrest

The arrest itself could have been a movie scene. Dressed in his red racing gear, the man refused to leave the cockpit for nearly ten minutes. He argued with officers, accused them of trespassing, and even tried calling the police on the police as they moved in.

His son Lukas claimed that “around two dozen patrol cars showed up” to arrest his father.

Overreaction? Many think so. Deploying that kind of force for a man who hadn’t harmed anyone paints a picture of authorities desperate to save face after six years of failure.

The End of the Road

The “Czech F1 Phantom” now faces administrative charges, a driving ban, and hefty fines worth thousands of crowns. His beloved Dallara GP2/08 won’t see public asphalt again.

But in the eyes of many, he’s already secured his place in car culture history. For six years, he woke up knowing he could fire up 620 horses and live a thrill most people only dream about.

Sure, it wasn’t legal. But every time you’re stuck behind someone crawling along at 45 in the left lane, you’ll remember the man who refused to accept that speed belongs only on racetracks.

That’s not just rebellion. That’s a legacy.
