While his town grieves the Thanksgiving tragedy, details of a horrifying three-car incident that claimed the lives of a Texas CEO and his two children are beginning to surface.
Tragic Thanksgiving catastrophe claimed the life of 44-year-old Zach Muckleroy and his kids, Lindsay, 9, and Judson, 12. Family is heartbroken after an SUV crash.

Introducing Muckleroy, a devoted supporter of Texas Christian University who began his career in 1998 as a walk-on football player. He is currently the CEO of his family’s well-known construction firm, Muckleroy & Falls Construction, which is based in the thriving Fort Worth area.
His wife Lauren is in serious condition in an Austin hospital despite having survived a collision.
A Toyota driver swerved into oncoming traffic and struck the Muckleroys’ Chevrolet SUV head-on in a startling occurrence. The horrible accident is clarified by the Texas Department of Public Safety’s preliminary inquiry.
“A woman driving a Nissan Versa, also southbound, then hit the Muckleroy family, rolling the Nissan,” According to the Morning News.
“Zach Muckleroy, 44, and his children died at the scene of the crash. The driver of the Toyota, whose name has not been released, died later at a hospital. The driver of the Nissan was treated at the scene and released,” the outlet said.
The cause of the Toyota driver’s reckless crossing of the traffic line is a mystery.
The Muckleroy family, longtime members of University Christian Church in Fort Worth who have been a part of several generations, is mourned. The Rev. Russ Peterman expresses the destruction to his congregation.

“Zach was not only a member of the congregation, but a friend as well. I love that family,” KDFW-TV was told by Peterman. “Those kids are amazing. Lauren is a fighter.”
After several operations, tragedy befalls her when she discovers the fate of her spouse and their two children.
“She’s aware that she lost her family. You can only imagine how hard that must be,” Peterman said.
In a poignant social media message, former TCU football coach Gary Patterson offers his deepest sympathies.
“With a heavy heart i just wanted to follow up with any of you that hadn’t heard that last night we lost a great Horn Frog, husband, dad and friend Zach Muckleroy and their two children Lindsay and Judson in a head on collision. Lauren, Zach’s wife is in critical condition!” he said.
