Mr. Crosby and Ms. Judd are accused of purposely delaying the completion of the statewide vote count, and they are also accused of plotting to impede the voting process. Cochise County officials were directed by Judge Casey McGinley’s court order to officially announce the election results as soon as possible.
Illegal: According to Judge McGinley’s decision, it was unlawful for the supervisors to not certify the results by the deadline of November 28, 2022. The only jurisdiction to miss the statutory deadline was Cochise County.
To confirm reports of problems with voting equipment certification, Crosby and Judd take action. They demand that every ballot be carefully examined and manually counted. Election authorities attest that the equipment was in good working order and had received the necessary approvals.
Anne English, the third member of the Cochise County Board of Supervisors, brashly objects to the move without drawing any attention to herself.
Attorney General Kris Mayes restates the position that free and fair elections will always be protected. She emphasized in a news release on November 29 her will to take legal action against anyone attempting to tamper with election results. You can be confident that her office will keep up the democratic battle.
“The repeated attempts to undermine our democracy are unacceptable,” she said.
“I took an oath to uphold the rule of law, and my office will continue to enforce Arizona’s elections laws and support our election officials as they carry out the duties and responsibilities of their offices,” Ms. Mayes added.

Defense lawyer Dennis Wilenchik asserts with confidence that there is no basis for the accusations made against Mr. Crosby. He claims that since the board officially certified its results far in advance of the legally-mandated time for the secretary of state to assess the statewide results, the charges of meddling are without merit. Additionally, he brushes aside the conspiracy accusation as completely without merit and “nonsensical,” given that there is no proof of any coordination between the accused supervisors to influence an electoral official.
“The indictment is the product of nothing but political partisanship,” Mr. Wilenchik said.
To yet, Ms. Judd’s counsel has not released a comment to the public.
Mr. Crosby and Ms. Judd have been approached by The Epoch Times to provide comments on the indictment.

Contentious Legal Battles Concern Election Results
Following the much-awaited postponement of the Cochise County election results, a flurry of lawsuits has been filed. Justice is being sought by candidates, a concerned local acting on behalf of a nonprofit organization, and other resentful parties. Get ready for an exciting legal rollercoaster.
The state’s ultimate winner of the governorship race, Arizona Secretary of State Katie Hobbs, sued Cochise County over the delay, claiming that the county “had a statutory duty to certify the results of the 2022 General Election” by Nov. 28.
In Ms. Hobbs’ complaint, it was claimed that if the findings weren’t certified by December 1st, “sow greater confusion and doubt about the integrity of Arizona’s election system” and she eventually succeeded in her request for the court to impose an injunction requiring authorities to comply.
Kari Lake, a Republican running for governor of California, has filed a lawsuit against Maricopa County election authorities for anomalies in the midterm elections. According to the lawsuit, more over half of the county’s polling places reported breakdowns or other problems.

U.S. District Judge John Tuchi declared Ms. Lake’s case to be “frivolous” and her fraud accusations to be “baseless” on December 1, 2022.
Arizona Alliance of Retired Americans and regional resident Stephani Stephenson have filed a new case in Cochise County Superior Court.
The Cochise County Board of Supervisors claimed in this case “does not have the discretion to refuse to canvass the results of the 2022 general election,” and that canvassing election results by a date specific is the board’s “mandatory legal duty under Arizona law.”
US Election Fraud Allegations
After President Joe Biden defeated former President Donald Trump in the 2020 presidential election, unfounded allegations of voter fraud have increased. However, no hard proof for these claims has been discovered.
In a formal request, President Trump’s attorneys have asked federal prosecutors in Washington, D.C., to turn over any possible proof of electoral fraud in the 2020 contest.

In recent memory, there has only been one confirmed example of voting fraud. A Connecticut court declared the evidence “shocking” and annulled a primary election.
There were allegedly thousands of absentee ballots cast in the Democratic primary on September 12 for Bridgeport’s mayoral election. John Gomes, the candidate, has produced proof that suggests some of these votes were cast fraudulently.
