Sharp-eyed fans first noticed the alterations when comparing the new Prime Video thumbnails to the originals. X user John A. Douglas posted a viral side-by-side image, writing, “They photoshopped all the guns out of the James Bond movie thumbnails. Just in case you still had hope for Amazon being in charge of the franchise.”
That single post exploded online, sparking outrage among movie buffs and conservatives who accused Amazon of rewriting cinematic history to fit modern “woke” sensibilities.
