5+ Hours to Vote? Bucks County’s Election Nightmare!

Bucks County, PA – In Bucks County, Pennsylvania, early voters faced five-hour wait times after a judge’s ruling extended early voting hours, following a legal push from the Trump campaign. The decision came in response to complaints that Bucks County officials had closed in-person voting lines prematurely on the final day for absentee ballot requests, with some locations even shutting down hours before their scheduled closure times.

Voters in places like Doylestown and Quakertown encountered unexpected closures and alleged voter suppression tactics, leaving many residents unable to cast their ballots. The Trump campaign’s legal team argued that these closures unjustly limited access, prompting a swift lawsuit against Bucks County. By Wednesday, a judge had ruled in favor of the Trump campaign, mandating an extension for early voting through Friday at 5:00 p.m., with the aim of ensuring all voters had a chance to cast their ballots.
