BOMBSHELL: Bannon’s Release Delayed Illegally!

>> Continued From the Previous Page <<

Steve Bannon is currently serving a four-month sentence at the Federal Correctional Institute in Danbury, Connecticut. His conviction stems from defying a congressional subpoena issued by the controversial House select committee investigating the events of January 6, 2021. Despite earning time credits under the FSA, Bannon remains incarcerated, raising questions about the fairness and motives behind the delay.

According to a letter from Acting Warden Darek Puzio, Bannon had accrued 10 days of First Step Act time credits, which should have allowed him to transition to home confinement as early as October 19, 2024. However, Puzio’s letter revealed that the BOP deemed there was “insufficient time” to process Bannon’s transfer, forcing him to remain in prison until his full-term release date of October 29, 2024.

This delay has not only sparked outrage among Bannon’s supporters but also raised concerns about the federal agency’s ability to properly implement the First Step Act. “To date, Mr. Bannon has earned 10 First Step Act (‘FSA’) time credits. These credits would typically be applied toward early transfer to supervision pursuant to 18 U.S.C. Section 3624 (g) (3). However, Mr. Bannon does not have a term of supervision following his term of imprisonment. Thus, his 10 FSA time credits can only be applied toward prerelease custody placement in a Residential Reentry Center or on home confinement,” the letter reads.

The delay in processing Bannon’s release appears to be a systemic issue within the BOP. The warden admitted that the department responsible for arranging such transfers would not accept placements with fewer than 30 days remaining in the sentence. This left Bannon to serve the remainder of his term in prison, despite his good time credits.

The legal team’s efforts to expedite Bannon’s release have been stonewalled by what they see as political motivations. Bannon, a strong supporter of former President Trump, has repeatedly clashed with the Biden-Harris administration, leading some to question whether his extended imprisonment is part of a broader political vendetta.

Speaking to National Pulse, Bannon didn’t hold back in his criticism of Vice President Kamala Harris, calling her the “Queen of Mass Incarcerations” and accusing her of failing to uphold the principles of the First Step Act. “Kamala Harris is the ‘Queen of Mass Incarcerations,’” Bannon stated, highlighting her controversial track record with minority communities. He added that Harris has done “nothing to implement President Trump’s heroic First Step Act, in fact welcoming hundreds of thousands of hardened illegal migrant criminals while allowing US citizens eligible for early release to rot in prison.”

Bannon’s frustration with the current administration goes beyond his own situation. He pointed out the broader implications for the 2024 election, stating that Harris’ policies could cost her support among key voting groups in critical swing states. “Harris will lose this election on her inability to get black and Hispanic men to vote for her in Philadelphia, Detroit, Milwaukee, Atlanta, Phoenix, and Las Vegas,” Bannon said, adding that her failure to address family reunification for American prisoners while focusing on illegal immigration will come back to haunt her.

As Bannon’s legal team continues to press for his release, the clock ticks toward his full-term release date on October 29, 2024. Although the BOP has acknowledged its mismanagement, the former Trump adviser remains behind bars, awaiting what should have been an earlier release. In the meantime, Bannon remains defiant, accusing the Biden-Harris administration of trying to silence one of President Trump’s most prominent allies.

“The Harris Bureau of Prisons is illegally holding me past my legal release date—trying to eliminate one of President Trump’s strongest advocates—these criminals reek of desperation,” Bannon concluded.

With tensions running high, the situation surrounding Steve Bannon’s imprisonment is sure to remain a focal point for both his supporters and critics as the legal and political battles rage on.
