One of the more controversial moments occurred when Harris discussed the Biden administration’s handling of the withdrawal from Afghanistan and commented on the status of U.S. troops stationed in combat zones.
Harris was asked a direct question about the disastrous pullout from Afghanistan, a debacle that led to the loss of 13 American lives. The question was simple but serious: “Do you take any responsibility for the 13 lives that were lost in the evacuation of Afghanistan?”
