WHCD Shooting Case Takes SHOCKING Turn in Court

The man accused of attempting a shocking attack tied to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner has formally entered a not guilty plea in federal court, setting the stage for what is expected to be a high-profile and heavily contested criminal case in Washington, D.C.

Cole Allen, 31, appeared before U.S. District Judge Trevor McFadden on Monday and denied all charges stemming from the April 25 incident at the Washington Hilton. The alleged attack unfolded during the annual black-tie gathering attended by President Donald Trump, First Lady Melania Trump, and senior administration officials.

Allen is facing extremely serious federal charges, including attempting to assassinate the President of the United States, assault on federal law enforcement officers, transporting a firearm across state lines in the commission of a felony, and discharging a firearm during a violent crime. If convicted on all counts, he could spend the rest of his life in federal prison.
